How to Donate to the Foundation
Donate Financially
The Foundation has created an endowment fund that will finance
public awareness and education curriculums. Contributions will be
invested and the returns on investments will support the development
of the most effective educational tools available.
NMOC Foundation offers four sponsorship packages that give donors
the opportunity to match donated funds up to a pre-set limit for
one calendar year. As a Foundation sponsor, your company’s
name and logo are included in all advertisements, programs and other
promotional materials. In addition, sponsors receive designated
seat(s) on the Foundation’s Congress.
Interested parties may also donate individually to the Foundation
without committing to a sponsorship package. All donations are tax-deductible.
For every dollar you donate, more than 95% will be dedicated
to actual educational campaigns that promote “dig safely”
and “call before you dig.”

Be a Safety Trainer
The NMOC Foundation brings free safety education classes to hundreds
of excavators around the state every month. We invite all industry
professionals to help our efforts by volunteering to teach these
seminars. Volunteers can select which classes they want to teach
(based on class date and/or location) and receive a stipend to cover
their gas and food costs. All volunteers will be required to go
through a one-day training session to learn the curriculum and how
to teach the class.
Join the Foundation Congress
The Foundation
also invites those interested in directing the content of future
programming to be part of the Foundation Congress. Congress members
work with the Foundation Board to determine what programs will be
made available and what the curriculum will involve.
With your support, we can reduce accidents by 50% in five
years.
